Getting married
Your wedding day is a fabulous occasion and the marriage service, wherever held, is a public declaration of your love and commitment for each other.
We welcome couples celebrating their special day in our church. Of course if you do choose to get married in church, there is an added dimension to your wedding.
Including God in your marriage is no guarantee that you will avoid all the usual ups and downs associated with a lifetime relationship! However, the great news is that you know that you can look to God for help and guidance and His love will sustain you. There will also be the support of this local Christian church and the community of people who worship here.
If you would like to speak with a minister about arranging your wedding please contact our Circuit Office on 01604 721908 / 07745 782285 or by email – office@methodist-churches-northampton.org.uk.
Baptisms
Baptisms are usually included in our Sunday act of worship at 10:30am. These are lovely events and the congregation really enjoy celebrating with you. The Methodist Church recognise that God’s love and grace extends to all of us before we could know anything of it.

Funerals
Christians believe that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ gives them hope and cause of thanksgiving in the face of death. A Methodist funeral service acknowledges this hope and offers the bereaved an opportunity to remember their loved one’s life and offers them into God’s care.
Taking funerals is an important part of a Minister’s work which can be held at Park Grove, or at the crematorium or cemetery.
